Student Project Worker (Reporting to Head of Investment Strategy & Execution)

NREPis looking for a part-time Student Project Worker to join their Investment Strategy Team in Helsinki! The project period is approximately early December to mid-January with 3-5 working days per week.

As a Project Worker, you will gather historical data from assigned real estate companies’ fiscal reports and participate in creating a new database. In practice, you will locate needed financial figures and copy them to an Excel spreadsheet. You will succeed in this position if you are interested in the real estate industry and learning about financial ratios and reporting - earlier knowledge of financial statements is considered a benefit. Also, you enjoy working with Excel and don’t mind doing manual work. We hope that you are in the beginning of your studies and eager to gain experience in your own field!

The working period is between early December and mid-January with 3-5 working days per week. The exact working days will be settled with the chosen candidate – please specify your availability in your motivation letter. NREP's office is located right in the center of Helsinki and we hope that you have the possibility to work at the office when agreed, especially when you start in the role. Otherwise remote work is flexible.

Requirements:

• You have university level studies in business

• You have a genuine interest in the real estate industry

• You work independently but are also a trusted team player

• You have a full working proficiency in English - the fiscal reports are in English and your closest colleague is Danish with whom you will communicate via Teams

Assets:

• Understanding of financial management and accounting - prior experience working with financial statements is considered a benefit

In this position, you will:
