Business Finland is looking for a full time, fixed term (7 months) Strategic Support trainee with a hands-on attitude and proactive mindset. The Strategic Insights unit focuses on the creation of the new concept and are build on topics, where disruption is going on in societies world wide. These topics require long term investments on renewal to crap future market potential and to build value to society more widely. First two topics, where new concept is piloted are carbon neutrality and digitalisation as productivity enhancer. Working in Business Finland’s Strategic Insights -team and in cross organizational development project on new concepts offers you an excellent chance to start your career and work closely with dynamic Finnish innovation environment. The start date in this position will be 1.6.2021. Because of the current Covid-19 situation the work will start as remote work. In case the restrictions do change, the work location will be Business Finland's office in Ruoholahti.

In this position, your job tasks include:
Participate in strategic projects and creating new concepts related to carbon neutrality and digitalisation as productivity enhancers
Support the creation of a new scouting processes to spot new possibilities
Assist in other ongoing internal projects, for example, data collection, report creation and preparation of presentations for the management team
Support internal and external communication
What we expect from you:
Relevant educational background from university (for example on business, economics or engineering sciences)
Previous working experience in office or administrative work
Good analytical skills
Proactive working style and interest towards innovation activities
Ability to work independently as well as in a team: you are socially at ease in a multicultural environment
Fluent communication skills in English and Finnish and very good skills in the Office 365 -environment
