Job description:

Boilers and Gasification Plants Technology Unit (TU) in the Energy business unit is looking for a Specialist to carry out product development and troubleshooting tasks related to Fluidized bed boiler and Gasification technologies. As a Specialist you will work in development projects as well as support sales and delivery projects at your area of expertise.


You have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering and theoretical understanding in applied mechanics. Knowledge in power plant processes and material technology are an advantage.

You have a strong practical background in mechanical engineering. You are willing to take and overcome challenges and you can create new solutions and concepts without existing guidelines and instructions.

You are an experienced user of modern analysis software, preferably ANSYS and other engineering tools, like PDMS, AutoCad, SolidWorks, etc.

You can consider larger entities, but on the other hand you are also capable on very accurate work on detail level. You have fluent Finnish and English skills both spoken and written. Other language skills are a benefit.

In order to be successful in this job, you need to have the ability to plan and prioritize your own work. You are capable to work as a team member and provide technical support to our internal and external customers. You have a systematic way of working and reporting.
