We are now looking for a Specialist, Sourcing Operations to join our Source to Pay Operations team in Tampere, Finland.

What you’ll do

• Plan, manage and execute sourcing events (RFI, RFP, RFQ, e-auction) for indirect categories (RnD, MRO, Facility Management, Legal, HR, Marketing and other)
• Execute contract management activities in the area of indirect materials & services
• Provide sourcing & procurement expertise, guide and influence stakeholders in driving complex sourcing projects
• Create competitive sourcing tactics for sourcing event execution
• Identify proactively opportunities to optimize spend and supply base
• Analyze and evaluate supplier's performance, manage supply base
• Use e-sourcing platform to enhance sourcing event execution
• Ensure efficient, effective Source-to-Contract process implementation in your everyday work

Who you are

• You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics or technical area
• You have previous experience within Indirect sourcing or procurement of minimum 6 months
• You have technical sourcing knowledge in categories like MRO, CAPEX or experience with Legal, HR and Marketing categories
• You are fluent in Finnish and English. Additionally, skills in other languages relevant in UPM major markets are considered as an asset (e.g. German).
• You have experience of SAP Ariba and of other sourcing tools is considered as an asset
• You are proactive, service-oriented person with strong communication and influencing skills
• You have good collaboration and team-working skills with flexible and positive attitude towards changes
• You have self-management skills and are not afraid to take initiative and challenge the status quo
