“Welcome to Source to Pay Operations Organization! The Indirect Procurement Operations team works with different parts of global organization and has a key role in increasing internal efficiency, driving digitalization as well as ensuring compliance. We are passionate about what we do and we enjoy challenges. We are now looking for a Specialist or Senior Specialist who will support our Global Functions with high quality procurement activities.

What you’ll do
Your main tasks are:
Proceed on-time procurement (Purchase Orders, Frame Orders, of required goods and services) for Global Functions
Initiate new suppliers onboarding process
Spend plans creation
Be a first point of contact for requestors
Manage buying channels
Give input and participate in development projects
Support effective implementation of new processes and digital solutions
Conduct users training
Manage supplier relationships, work on their service improvement, make sure the agreed quality changes are applied
Ensure compliance with UPM internal controls, business rules, policies and legal requirements
Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and compliance
Ensure contract availability and compliance
Handle and support with claims
Who you are
You have at least a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant professional qualification in related area
You have at least 2 years of work experience in procurement/sourcing/purchasing area
You are comfortable working with ERP systems (preferably SAP ARIBA)
You are fluent in English and Finnish.
Experience from working in a global organization is considered as an asset
You are solution-oriented with a problem solving mindset
You have strong collaboration, influencing and team working skills with flexible, positive and proactive attitude towards changing environment
You have ability and willingness to achieve own and team’s targets with provided timelines
You have self-management skills and are not afraid to take initiative and challenge the status quo
