We are now looking for a Specialist, Cash Management to join our Cash Management team at UPM Treasury and Risk Management department in Helsinki. The employment is fixed-term for period from 9-10/2018 until 12/2020.

UPM Group Treasury in Helsinki is globally responsible for Liquidity, FX and Interest rate risk management, Funding as well as for Cash Management and Internal Bank.

What you’ll do

Your main responsibilities will be related to Cash Management daily operations and selected Cash Management/IHC project work within UPM’s Finance/SAP S4 project. You will be developing and maintaining UPM Cash Management processes and systems. You will be working with UPM Global processes including outgoing and incoming payments, banking connectivity, bank statements and liquidity forecasting. The job includes also working with SAP In-House-Cash and co-operation with UPM cash management banks.

UPM will soon start implementation phase of Finance renewal project. With the project UPM will take into use SAP S4 Central Finance including SAP latest cash management processes and solutions. This will give you great insight to cash management development and solution with new SAP capabilities.

In this role you will also:

  • Support Internal bank daily operations
  • Work with various banking software
  • Maintain UPM bank accounts in different systems and with banks
  • Test new SAP processes within the project
  • Test changes with current systems (SAP, OpusCapita etc)
  • Contribute to master data and other reconciliations within the project

Who you are

  • You have at least bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in accounting
  • You have at least three years of relevant work experience in cash management and/or other finance processes
  • You have good SAP skills and solid skills in Excel and other Office tools with experience of accounting related data processing
  • You have excellent communication skills in written and spoken Finnish and English, other languages are considered an asset
  • You are accurate and timely with your work and you are willing to learn new things
  • You are highly motivated, pro-active and familiar with project work
