We are looking for a Sourcing specialist to join our procurement team

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our procurement team in Espoo. As a Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for managing the agreed direct materials used in Aidian's production, and assisting in R&D and product life cycle management projects. You will work independently to complete the assigned tasks and meet the pre-set targets, while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders such as Aidian's suppliers, R&D team, product life cycle management, and supply chain teams.
The final job description will be tailored according to the candidate's experience and profile, but the main tasks consist of the following activities:
· Sourcing activities related to R&D and life cycle management projects
· Supplier management activities with existing suppliers (direct material suppliers)
· Contract and price negotiations
· Ensuring that KPIs are met (prices, stock turnover, on time delivery, etc.)
The position is for a fixed term until 31.12.2024 to substitute a parental leave.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position should have a few years of work experience and a suitable technical or commercial education. We value earlier work experience from IVD (in vitro diagnostics) industry, life science industry, or experience from similar roles in the field of procurement/sourcing. To be successful in the role, you will need to have good negotiation skills, good analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Aidian is using SAP so any experience using SAP ECC is also a plus. We expect the candidate to have fluent oral and written English language skills to be able to be successful in the role. Finnish language skills are preferred but not a mandatory requirement.
