We are now looking for a Sourcing Manager to support our growing global business and to strengthen our Strategic Sourcing team in Tuusula.

We offer you a position in a team with talented colleagues who take responsibility and work together to achieve team targets. Team reports to the Sourcing Team Leader in Tuusula.

As a Sourcing Manager you work closely with preferred suppliers to develop, integrate and manage business with them to drive for and implement best-in-class supply chain processes and procedures. You identify cost efficiency potential, define cost avoidance and savings projects including implementation and reporting, and define and negotiate business adequate/relevant contracts. Also, you follow supply market intelligence and keep an eye on market trends, potential business risks and opportunities.

We are looking for a team member with good attitude, strong analytical skills and capability to work under pressure and tight timelines. You will join a team that is driven by results and always aim for continuous improvement. You plan and organize efficiently and interface easily at all levels of the organization and with external partners. You demonstrate ability for strategic thinking, have leadership skills and a track record in successful project management.

To be successful in this position, we expect you to

  • hold a technical or commercial university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) or adequate experience
  • have minimum of three years’ experience in a strategic sourcing or procurement role in global environment
  • have general technical knowledge of material and manufacturing processes
  • have commercial understanding covering purchasing markets, price analysis and calculation methods
  • have good proficiency both in spoken and written English
  • have excellent negotiation skills

Additionally, we would appreciate if you have

  • knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements for medical products
  • knowledge and interest in Lean methods and processes.
