ARE YOU OUR NEXT SOURCING MANAGER?
As Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for leading and supporting the FläktGroup business strategy by developing and managing our supply base. Sourcing Manager leads the local sourcing team and directs the overall sourcing activities within FläktGroup Finland Oy. Sourcing Manager also works closely with the global and regional sourcing and commodity teams within FläktGroup. In this position you will be developing the quality and improving the availability of materials, lowering purchasing costs and promoting seamless co-operation with suppliers to ensure sustainable competitive advantage to support the recognition of FläktGroup as a quality and technology leader.
You will be working closely with various functions within the organization (Operations, Finance, Procurement and Purchasing) and external partners (suppliers, service providers, subcontractors and authorities). Your main tasks will be the selection and the nomination of new suppliers, activities related to new contracts or modifications to existing ones, the initiatives related to reducing costs and improving efficiency, reporting and assuring the necessary input and support to local Purchasing organizations and the commodity team within FläktGroup.
We are looking for a person with strong collaboration, networking and communication skills who is used to working under pressure. You are a motivational team leader. You have a target oriented and proactive attitude as well as strong cross-functional teamwork skills. You can detect improvement opportunities and develop purchasing activities and supplier quality.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience of working in an international industrial environment, preferably mainly in Sourcing/Purchasing, and an academic degree in a relevant field. The position requires willingness to work in a true international environment as well as business fluent English.
