Sourcing Director, Global Sourcing

We are a leading provider of technologies for television and broadband services operators around the world. Teleste offers cable operators a comprehensive set of broadband network products, software and services for building combined fibre-optic and coax cable networks. Our portfolio includes e.g. stand-alone applications and integrated turnkey network deliveries. Our solutions combine latest innovations with deep understanding of our customers’ needs. Our smart and innovative portfolio allows operators to ensure top-quality broadband and TV services for their subscribers while reducing the total cost of network ownership and maintaining flexibility towards technology changes.

We are now looking for Sourcing Director to lead our team of sourcing managers and specialists. In this role, you will work with more than 60 talented professionals, located in Finland, in Littoinen and Forssa. Reporting to SVP of OLS, Operations, Logistics and Sourcing, you will also be part of the leadership team that is responsible for business and development of our solutions. The location of this role can be Littoinen with hybrid work possibility.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

You should have a good understanding of leading team of professional and strategy creation and implementation and wide understanding of business rules. . Focusing on customer needs, managing tight project timelines, and cross-functional collaboration are among your strengths, and you also have a drive for growth.

We also wish you to continuously develop your team and its competencies and manage the development activities, so experience in leadership and coaching roles will be considered an asset.

You should have experience in:

•Supplier relationship management

•Price negotiations including should cost modelling

•Contract negotiations

•Supplier risk management

•Supplier assessments and supplier development

•Technology sourcing

•Sourcing support for R&D-projects

In addition to sourcing - experience of international sales is an asset.
