Sourcing Analyst

This job includes enriching data sources for best possible real time analytics across all group spend. Further development of procurement processes is also part of the selected person’s job description.
In this role, you will monitor the changes in our business around the world, sort and prioritize data depending on possible impact on Lappset and on Lappset competitors. Work is done with suppliers, in cooperation with partners as well as other functions within our organization. Your position will give you an opportunity to get to know and understand Lappset’s business, functions, and continuous development needs in the procurement and supply chain. Work in our sourcing team is varied, you get to influence our business-critical purchasing decisions and the tasks are interesting and diverse.
In the role of Sourcing Analyst you will:
Analyze and improve spend data management for key business categories
Plan and implement the digitalization journey of the procurement function with our team
Carry out opportunity and risk assessments of the supply market situation
Participate in establishing and follow up the sustainability targets across all group spend categories
Maintain the contract base and participate in the preparation of contracts and service levels (SLAs)
Support procurement team with expense information, reporting, and e-sourcing events, as well as quotation and risk analysis
You are the administrator, expert and trainer of BI tools in the company
To succeed in the task, you need:
Experience in data analytics and systems, 1 year or more
Understanding of the possibilities of analytics and knowledge of BI tools
The ability to present information based on financial data in an understandable way
Interested to invest in active collaboration that supports internal buy in and decision making within the company
Active, hands on approach that drives maintenance and development of supply network, processes, systems and tools
The readiness to travel in Finland (mainly Helsinki & Rovaniemi) and abroad about 20-50 days / year
Languages: oral and written fluent English and at least reasonable Finnish
Suitable education, e.g., master’s degree
In addition to the above, the following may be helpful in learning the job:
Previous experience in sourcing and procurement processes, data analytics and systems or another international experience. Desire to interact with people and strong communication skills for excellent cooperation.
