Our VTT Commercial Operations unit drive customer centricity. We are now hiring Solution Sales Lead to strengthen the Sales & Partnerships team and act as a key interface to Smart Energy and Transport Solutions Research Area. The Smart Energy and Transport Solutions research area is focused on global challenges of climate action and good life and on growth opportunities they bring to our customers. We develop solutions for our customers using the multidisciplinary approach, and integrating different sectors: smart buildings, infrastructure, smart energy systems, and transport and mobility. As a Solution Sales Lead you will manage and support the execution of the day-to-day customer sales activities within Research Area sales community.

With us you will be responsible for

  • Building virtual sales teams among researcher community
  • Capturing joint customer and VTT business opportunities
  • Building strategic customer alignment and seeking new consultative selling opportunities
  • Analysing market opportunities for Research Area and seeking new growth customers according to sales strategy
  • Planning sales and marketing activities
  • Keeping track of the sales funnel in the CRM and co-ordinating the activities towards the customers
  • Active participation into offering development

We expect you to have

  • Master´s level in a relevant field as preference.
  • Strong collaboration and networking capabilities
  • Track record of managing demanding customer relationships, selling complex projects and creating new business
  • A good technological understanding from (at least) one of the following areas: smart energy, transport & mobility or smart cities. It is an advantage if you have gained experience in the sales role in the aforementioned technologies, but not mandatory.
  • Good skills in Finnish and English, both oral and written, are required.
  • Other possible language skills are considered as an advantage.

You have a well-developed business understanding and passion for helping our customers to further develop their business and finding win-win solutions. You are proactive, growth orientated and you like a systematic approach in sales. You drive for result and closing the deals.
You have an outgoing and professional attitude, analytical mindset and board perspective to business. You also need to be a team-player, have excellent negotiation and networking skills.
