IM integrates processes, systems and information, supporting businesses in digitizing the core operations and enables new digital business opportunities via technology and information. We are looking for a Solution Manager to support our Field Service Planning Board solution, and the Planning Board renewal project. Wärtsilä offers a lot of challenges and growth potential for people passionate about supporting business with world-class solutions. This position is replacement during parental leave and opened as internal job transfer position as we value Wärtsilä organisation and existing tools understanding filling this important role.


  • Guide and assist business process owners to optimize, automatize and industrialize business processes with IT solutions
  • Manage and be responsible for development and total delivery of solutions during their lifecycle
  • Manage the documentation and communication related to the own functional area
  • Work in closed co-operation with Service manager, vendors and business stakeholders


  • Education: B.Sc. or equivalent in IT or engineering domain
  • Very good team working skills in global environment
  • Proactive, development-minded, independent and goal-focused attitude to work
  • Overall understanding in Sales area
  • Knowledge of related information systems (Salesforce, Field Service Planning board) is seen essential
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good leadership, collaboration and change management skills
  • Very good documentation and presentation skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel

Possible locations for this position is Helsinki, Vaasa or Turku.
