SOLUTION DESIGNER, Finance

to join us in Metsä Group ICT Application Services/Finance team and focus in developing Finance ICT solutions and services, especially in the area of financing and treasury solutions.

Your role in the future Metsä

You will be working as a Solution Designer for Finance, focusing on building the treasury and financing functionalities to the Metsä systems. You are the member of Group level development team which is driving business’s specific requirements’ implementation while ensuring that Group level synergies, best practices and cost efficiency are taken into account.

You can already be an expert in the area or willing to learn to become ICT SAP finance expert based on your working or educational background.

What do you get to do?

You will be responsible for finance solution development, capturing development needs as well as implementing and coordinating their execution with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Your key responsibilities consist of the following:

• Business requirements management
• Designing, specifying, implementing and testing new finance functionalities, implementing changes to existing solutions and controlling the progress of development
• Defining and maintaining best practices for Finance development and maintenance, and standards for solution quality
• Providing knowledge transfer to support organizations in service transition, and act as 3rd tier application support
• Identify improvement opportunities within own area by understanding business processes and industry requirements, standards and best practices
• Contribution to Finance solution architecture

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a person who has ability to document the solution and turn business requirements into implementable solution concepts and do system design concerning the finance and treasury related processes. You may have hands-on development experience in SAP S/4 or SAP ECC Finance or you have related finance working experience/educational background. You may have worked in different type of ICT solution development projects and have good understanding of project and release management ways of working in general. English skills are expected.

The following are considered as an asset

• Good combination of IT technical competencies and finance process knowledge
• Experience of SAP ECC FI or SAP S/4 FI, SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM), SAP Cash and Liquidity Management (CLM), Bank connection systems and in-house cash functionalities.
• Experience on other SAP solutions like SAP Analytics Cloud and BW4HANA and experience to design integrated finance and controlling solution with reporting capabilities
• Ability to coordinate and lead development work in multivendor environment
