Solution Designer, Customer Experience Management
We are looking for an enthusiastic ICT professional to join us in Group ICT Application Services Unit as a Solution Designer for customer experience management (CEM) solutions in B2B area covering mostly sales, supply chain and customer service processes. You will be planning how the different technologies, information systems and data assets must interlock together to create the best feasible solutions for Metsä business areas. You will work closely with CEM Solution Architect and business stakeholders, and you will be responsible for implementing the solutions ‘hands-on’ supported by our vendors. You know what is takes to deliver business value in the digital era and you are constantly pushing yourself to learn more by exploring, experimenting and e.g. developing PoCs.
− Translate business requirements into technical specifications which include multiple different applications and their interoperation.
− Business driven information system development aligned with architecture principles, e.g. design patterns, system integrity, continuity and non-functional requirements.
− Test case planning and test execution.
− Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
− Providing knowledge transfer to ICT support functions.
Application support and maintenance:
− 3rd tier application support for complicated incidents.
− Identify and resolve complex technical problems utilizing problem management processes.
The requirements for this position include:
− Hands-on application development experience of cloud solutions, ecommerce, portals and/or digital marketing.
− Experience in SDLC and DevOps, and understanding of various architectural patterns and modern ecosystems of different services and platforms (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
− Passion to understand business processes and bottlenecks, great systems thinking and problem decomposition skills.
− Good at communicating with different audiences and cultures, both with business and ICT stakeholders.
− Experience of agile development methods and also ITIL processes.
− Degree in information technology, such as BBA or M.Sc.
− Fluent Finnish and English (written and spoken), other languages are considered as an asset.
− Creative thinking and passion to solve problems.
− Ability to influence people in a matrix organization.
