Solution architect, Customer solutions

As a Solution Architect at YIT, you will be responsible for designing and implementing IT solutions that enhance our customer experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our technology infrastructure aligns with our business goals and customer needs.

Main responsibilities

• Analyze the business needs and challenges of our customers and propose effective and efficient solutions that align with their goals and vision
• Design and document the solution architecture, including the technical, functional, and non-functional aspects, using industry standards and best practices
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architects to ensure the alignment and integration of the solution architecture with the enterprise architecture
• Provide guidance and support to the development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring the adherence to the solution architecture and the quality of the deliverables
• Conduct research and evaluation of new technologies and trends, and recommend improvements and enhancements to the existing solutions and architectures

What we expect from you?  

• Master of Science or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experienced with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), Marketing automation, CMS, and Product data management.
• Skilled in translating business requirements into IT solutions and comfortable engaging with international stakeholders.
• Proficient in documenting IT solutions for diverse audiences and maintaining clear communication.
• Agile mindset with a strong emphasis on driving Quality Assurance and adhering to security and GDPR standards.
• Hands-on development experience and fluency in Finnish are considered valuable assets.
