Do you have a degree in information technology, physics, mathematics or are you in final stages of your studies and eager to start your career within the field? Do you already have some experience in automation testing, software development and a strong will to develop your skills as a part of a global company? Varian Medical Systems is now searching for a software verification engineer to join their international team working with developing software for planning of radiation therapy for cancer treatment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
At this role you will be working a lot with test automation and software development. You will be developing and maintaining unit/integration testing related to radiation therapy software. Depending on the project, you also need to be able to do manual testing and software development mostly on C++ based software in Windows environment. The automated tests are executed in Varian's test execution framework.

JOB DUTIES

* Automation testing
* Software development (C++)
* Manual testing
* Maintenance and further development of tests in Varian's automated test framework

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Education in physics, mathematics or information technology
* Some previous working experience on a relevant field
* Knowledge of automation testing and software development (C++)
* Experience handling big amounts of code and different software systems
* Proactive attitude and genuine will to learn more
* Fluent skills in English


Knowledge of C# and other C-based languages will be considered as an advantage. Interest in physics is also considered as an advantage.

* Start: As soos as possible
* Work extent: Full time, 12 months (a possibility to discuss the continuation of the contract)
