Are you looking to develop yourself as a software test engineer? Our software development team is looking to hire summer trainees to work with our family of developers, testers, UX designers and domain experts

Software Test Engineer (summer trainee)

You will be working with the designing and testing of the changes made on our cloud-based software. In our work we use test automation so your role will also include coding and scripting. You will also work with testing our software manually.

Our core codebase is mostly written in Java, and we use the open-source Vaadin framework for providing a beautiful front-end to the end-user. For Test automation we are using JBehave Framework. Other key technologies include MySQL, JUnit, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible and Git. For mobile development we use a modern JavaScript stack with React. Keys to success

  • A proven track record of software testing either as studies, work experience or hobbyism
  • Experience in coding either as studies, work experience or hobbyism
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Basic understanding of web-based software
  • Fluency with Finnish and/or English
  • Good writing skills

We also value

  • Knowledge of financial management
  • Knowledge of Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of test automation
  • Previous work experience

You are self-imposed and have a solution-focused attitude. You take responsibility of your own work and work well in teams. You don’t hesitate to ask for help or to help others. As a team member you are friendly and fun to work with.


Send a CV and motivation letter to us as soon as possible, but no later than Sun 20.1.2019. The employment starts upon agreement at the latest on June and the position is full-time. We hope you can also continue working with us part-time after your studies start in autumn.
