Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is the leading provider of equipment and tools as well as maintenance and technical services for the mining industry. Its products include drill rigs, mechanical mining equipment, crushers, loading and hauling equipment and material processing equipment.
Our Systems Engineering team is now looking for a SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER to be employed by Sandvik the Underground Drilling Division to develop and integrate latest technologies on our journey towards Electrified and Autonomous mining. The recruitment process is handled by StaffPoint and the employment contract will be signed directly with Sandvik. The position is permanent and based in Tampere, Finland.
Your role:
As a Software Test Engineer your job will include identifying, designing, and documenting new tests, performing manual testing in simulator environments, and automating tests when possible. In addition, your work will include maintaining existing test automation scripts and reporting the test results. Our team consists of professionals with a wide range of backgrounds. In this position you have an opportunity to work with high quality technology in an international environment.
Edellytämme sinulta
You have a relevant technical education, and you have a minimum of three years of experience in software testing. You have Python programming experience and knowledge of software testing, methods, and tools. In your way of working you have good teamwork skills, the ability to work systematically and you have a commitment to high quality. The job requires written and verbal communication skills in English.
