Turku, Finland / Diagnostics

The Turku Site, with 550 employees, represents one of PerkinElmer’s major manufacturing and product development sites for newborn-, maternal fetal health-, and prenatal screening. As the global market leader in newborn screening, our solutions have tested over 560 million babies worldwide for life-threatening diseases.

Role description:

  • Responsible for design and development of PerkinElmer’s in-house production software solutions in the regulated environment
  • Perform testing and documentation according to our standard operating procedures
  • Responsible for end user support for the software solutions
  • Demand to understand and interpret multipurpose software requirements from various sources and ability to communicate with other software specialists to ensure that the result will fulfill the actual needs

Role requirements:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in software engineering or related technical field and some years of software development experience
  • Good interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge or interest in good software development practices and object-oriented software design
  • Development experience in C#, .NET and SQL
  • Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
