Visionbay's Development Team is now looking for an experienced developer to build their new self-service platform as a part of their BI & Planning interface called Huubia. In this position, you get to build new features to an existing system, enable scalable platforms & services with your coworkers, and you are encouraged to innovate and develop your role in a way that suits you the best.

Visionbay's customers are Finnish growth companies in the SME sector who seek a competitive advantage by leaning on information management and want to work together with Visionbay on a partnership basis. Services that Visionbay offers are readymade solutions in the areas of Data Management, BI-reporting, and Planning. Currently, solutions are always based on a data warehouse that utilizes the Data Vault method as well as their own user interface Huubia. In the future, Huubia will be offered also with direct Self-Service platform to new customers with a possibility to attach Data Warehouse Services along. Customers are taken care of as a monthly service from implementation to maintenance and all the way to support.

Responsibilities

In this position, you are in a key role in developing Visionbay's new self-service platform to Huubia. Of course, you will also have support from your skilled fellow team members but it is necessary that you are capable of doing independent work and sharing ideas with other developers. In addition, you will help other team members to improve their skills with Angular. The Development Team uses the Agile methodologies and code review to continuously improve quality. At Visionbay, working is divided into smaller parts that are easy to manage and therefore, more predictable bigger entities can be produced.

To succeed in this position, you will have:

• A few years of experience in hands-on Full Stack Development
• Good understanding of modern software development practices and technologies like Angular, Node.js and SQL
• Enthusiasm to learn new abilities and guide your team members
• Proficiency in the Finnish language is considered an advantage
