Software Developer Trainees 2023

We are now looking for several Software Developer Trainees to join our appreciated technology site located in Oulu Technology Village and Rovaniemi remote hub. Start your career with us and join our team for shaping the future of automotive software!

As a Trainee in Elektrobit you can grow and participate in developing the future automotive software in a nice, helpful and professional team. Depending on your background and interest, you can work with our unique customer projects or participate in the development of our own products. Your role is not set in stone yet - we are interested to hear what you would like to do and learn. We also want to support our Trainees' studies e.g. by helping to find a thesis topic. After the Trainee period, our target is that most of the Trainees continue working with us permanently.

What do we expect from you?

• You are a newly graduated or close to graduate Software Developer with strong team player mentality.

• You have already gained knowledge and some experience from one or more of the following: C, C++, Python, Qt/QML, Java, Linux, Android - we appreciate if you have done programming with some of the mentioned for example as a hobby/school project.

• Maybe you also know something about test automation, continuous integration/delivery, agile software development or version control tools?

• We don't expect you to be an expert – we value eagerness to learn with us. 

• You have good written and spoken English skills and courage to use it with your colleagues globally.
