JOB DUTIES

In this role you have a great chance to influence the direction that you want to move towards to. The work can be more frontend or backend depending on your skills, but you have a great opporturnity to develop into a fullstack developer. This job also offers a great opporturnity to deepen your knowledge in chemistry and biology, if you are interested in that area. You will be working with an experienced software team. The job might require occasional late afternoons / early evenings due to meetings with people from different time zones.

The job duties include:

* Software development
* Developing a desktop application that guides laboratory equipment
* Communicating with different stakeholders

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Relevant academical background
* Knowledge in C# and .NET
* Agile software development methodologies
* Some previous experience in the field (for example from a summer job)
* Fluent English language skills, Finnish skills are considered a plus

Skills in Azure DevOps, Git / GitHub and Visual Studios are seen as plus.

As a person you are:

* Team player and you enjoy working with others as a team
* Proactive and self-imposed but not afraid to ask for help if needed

* Employment period: 12 months with a possibility for continuation
* Location: Vantaa, partial remote-work possibility
