We are offering a position as a Site Manager at ABB Oy, Marine & Ports unit in Vuosaari, Helsinki. You will be responsible for leading commissioning sites of ABB Marine systems for low and medium voltage equipment such as rotating machinery, transformers, frequency converters, switchboards and Azipod propulsion units. Sites are mostly in Europe and work on one site lasts approximately 4 months. Your duties will include installation supervision, startup, testing as well as acceptance testing of the systems in cooperation with the classification societies and the customer. This position offers you an excellent opportunity to contribute to developing the ABB marine business and to develop into an expert in our products and systems. Other positions such as a Lead Engineer or Project Manager are potential career prospects. 


We require a B.Sc. or a M.Sc. degree or equivalent education in electric power engineering and practical work experience in commissioning ABB products and systems. This position requires the ability to live and travel abroad. Experience in shipbuilding and knowledge of ABB products are an advantage. Electrical power systems are in your area of expertise. You work well both independently and as a part of a team. You seek solutions actively. Interaction with both the customer and the ABB team is an important part of this job, so you have good communication skills. Good English skills are mandatory, other language skills are an advantage. You are familiar with MS Office software and preferably with ABB tools.
