Senior Soft Services Manager

We are searching for a Senior Soft Services Manager (Site Manager) to strengthen our Finnish team in one of our Nordic Lighthouse accounts within the Financial sector. The account is part of the Key Accounts division within ISS, which focuses to deliver the best value propositions and tailored services to the Customers within Business, IT and HQ segments.

In this role you are the focal, single point of contact for the client’s key stakeholders for all things tactical and operational in soft services to ensure that ISS maintains a sustainable, successful and a long-term relationship. You are part of the account senior leadership team in Finland and reporting directly to the country Key Account Director.

In this position you will be, together with your manager team, responsible for catering, cleaning, office support, meetings and events, reception, post and integrated services being delivered to the Customer.

As a Senior Soft Services Manager your day to day activities include:

  • Developing the account in soft services and creating value adding propositions to the Customer
  • Being an active member of the account senior leadership team in Finland and sharing best practices across the Nordics with your counterparts in the other countries
  • Managing staffing and competence development of employees and maintaining resource-performance balance
  • Driving delivery of services in accordance with agreed contract requirements and the assigned OPF/Operational processes
  • Driving excellence in service delivery and focus on continuous improvement and quality of delivery
  • Developing the delivery of integrated services at site
  • Mapping and mitigating operational and financial risks
  • Reporting and analyzing measurements according to contract and drive performance initiatives
  • Analyzing, querying and consolidation the monthly reported financial results
  • Managing client interactions on site and maintaining stakeholder influence plan on site
  • Managing and providing leadership, guidance and support to Service Managers and their colleagues while being compliant to all relevant policies and processes in relation to people management
  • Managing  people, materials and financial resources to maintain budgetary control and profitability (P/L)
  • Managing compliance to the related requirements as dictated by local law, requirements of local governing bodies as well as Customer and ISS policies
  • Creating and maintaining a Healthy, Safe, and Secure Environment and managing compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, company policy & any applicable industry requirements.

In this role the education and professional background requirements are:

  • Relevant higher education background
  • Experience with budget and financial management
  • Experience in customer facing environment
  • Experience with developing commercial concepts
  • Experience with creating proposals for steering committee level
  • Experience with driving the development of key operational procedures to deliver high quality
  • Experience with third generation outsourcing partnerships, Vested knowledge is considered to be a plus
  • Experience in leading diverse teams -allowing to work with people from different backgrounds, cultures and professional levels
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications and creating high quality presentations for informative purposes and decision making.

In this role we are looking for strong leadership, decision making and organizational skills. We expect you to have experience of financial and management analyzing and reporting as well as excellent communication skills. We require fluent communication in both spoken and written business English as well as in Finnish.
