Our customer-oriented Service Department is currently seeking

Service Support Engineer

to our site in Tampere.

In this position you will act as an important part of technical support for our highly technical products. Your main responsibilities include providing technical support especially internally and coordinating service activities. You will take care of your work in close co-operation with First-line Product Support, Service Support and other Engineering as well as Operations.

Your main responsibilities include:

- Provide technical support especially internally for first-line product support and service support engineering.
- Coordinate service and product support activities when needed and respond to requests from global service organization.
- Communicate product related issues with other functions, especially Engineering.
- Manage spare part inventory using global company systems.
- Participate in installations and other hands-on field support, especially in software design cases.
- Provide training and other support to customers when needed.

We are looking for a person with:

- Experience in technical support, preferably with highly technical products.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in technical field.
- Understanding of service and support activities and customer service as partnership.
- Analytical and systematic way of working.
- Good oral and written Finnish and English communication skills.
- Previous experience or knowledge in software design and lasers is seen as an advantage.
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to develop your expertise and work as part of a team.
- Availability to travel occasionally.
