We are looking for a Service Sales Project Manager to join Metso’s Valves Services team.
As a Service Sales Project Manager, you will be responsible of lifecycle, maintenance and shutdown planning projects globally. You are responsible of defining the service solution content, project management, coordination and implementation of our services to our customers for selected service projects.
Your main tasks include selecting service sales strategy, designing the service project solution packages, customer meetings and negotiations.
In your daily work, you participate in sales meetings in co-operation with local sales & service team, co-operate with local sales teams, guide sales support in quotation creation and provide product selection, pricing strategy and winning value propositions. You also develop and support the service sales capabilities in Market Areas.
In this key role, you will report to the directors of the Valves Services. You work closely with the local sales support and product line teams as well as the end customers.
Your driving force is to find the best solution in the most comprehensive way. In addition to a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. business or technical), you already have several years of work experience in service sales in a global business environment and experience working with customers. You are familiar with intercultural working environment, have good technical understanding and previous experience in valves business or in other relevant business industry.
You have a strategic mindset, convincing sales, negotiating and influencing skills and you do not hesitate in reaching ambitious targets. You have the ability to work with multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, time management and problem-solving skills. This position requires regular travelling and otherwise your office is in Vantaa, Finland.
You are a team player and you have a proactive and independent working style. You are able to see the big picture and to read fluently information between the lines. You express yourself clearly in English, both written and spoken; Finnish skills are a plus.
