Are you curious about supply chain and equipped with IT skills? We have excellent career opportunity for you! Our Delivery Solutions team is now searching for a Service Manager to be responsible for supply chain IT services.
In this expert position, you will be working together with Valmet IT and Operational Development function in the field of procurement, supplier collaboration, logistics/warehouse management in tasks supporting business transition towards digitalization. You will primarily be the solution expert ensuring management and development of solutions to support business activities. You would be working directly in IT function and co-operation with Valmet Operational Development team is essential part of daily tasks. Your future responsibilities with us could be described as a mix of Solution architecture designing, IT Service- and Project Management tasks.
Key tasks for Service Manager:
Participating in supply chain domain IT projects for project planning, design delivery and implementation of the different solutions
Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications
Identifies and analyses gaps between current processes and systems
Running IT governance for selected procurement/supplier collaboration tools
Designs new processes, system changes and transition plans together with business- and IT stakeholders
Provides support and guidance to the 3rd Party Service Providers in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities in the processes
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:
Technical degree, B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Systems, Industrial Management or related field equal
2+ years of work experience in IT project- or service management or in any other relevant IT role or supply chain
Genuine interest to follow supply chain industry trends and related IT Technologies
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and deliver results
Fluent written and spoken English is a must in Valmet international working environment
Following experience is regarded as an advantage:
Experience with supply chain implementations as well as related IT technologies
Experience with procurement processes from manufacturing industry
Experience with Salesforce and/or M-files ecosystems
Knowledge about data management
