As a Service Development & Delivery Manager, you support YIT growth ambitions by bringing your technological and IT service expertise into the new Offering and services development team. This team is responsible for leading the new customer-oriented service development, promoting service design and agile ways of working and managing the new services portfolio for YIT corporate customers. You promote a customer-centric approach and ensure the fulfillment of high customer experience goals in service development from the IT point of view.  This business area is new and growing, so you will have a great opportunity to shape the way YIT works and grow together with the team. 

In your role, you are responsible for

  • Business-oriented technical service development for defined services
  • Building technical capabilities for YIT’s service offering
  • Successful Customer onboarding and service development according customer needs
  • Building technical service model for YIT’s service offering meaning service operation and processes, quality, customer satisfaction and reporting of defined services
  • Managing technical vendors and agreements
  • Coordinating technology teams to ensure flawless services

You will work closely with the offering and services development team, business technology teams and vendors to create and deliver services that brings value for our customers and YIT. As you are involved in developing new offering, the exact tasks and responsibilities vary depending on the service and its stage of development. The development team works in agile way.

Keys to success in this role

  • Customer orientation and customer service attitude
  • Experience in technical service design and management  
  • Ability to design and implement solutions in the cloud or in hybrid architecture
  • An understanding of application development and data integration
  • An understanding of Enterprise computing infrastructure, preferably based on Microsoft technologies, these incudes but not limited to: 
    • Azure Cloud
    • Office 365
    • Directory services (AD, AAD, ADFS)
    • Identity and access management, B-to-B and B-to-C scenarios
    • Basic network understanding (corporate network topologies, routing, firewalling, VPN techniques, security)
    • Basic understanding of security controls and risk management
  • Previous experience as a team lead or demonstrable experience in leading virtual teams 
  • Experience of managing 3rd parties and 3rd party delivered services
  • Fluent written and spoken English, Finnish and other language skills considered as an asset
