Service Architect, Virtual NOC deployment
We are looking for talented Service Architect to support Elisa virtualized NOC automation software development for Elisa's Finnish networks. This is a unique position where we combine zerotouch data handling with advanced machine learning models. You will be a key player in planning and leading the upcoming rollouts and building a team around you to succeed in this task.
The main responsibilities for this role include collaborating with stakeholders from Service Assurance and making sure we have good plans moving forward. Adopting bespoke software solution to use may require changes to the Virtual NOC product itself and the person is expected to do hands-on development if and when needed. Leading other resources (internal or external) to success is a vital part of the responsibility.
Our architect needs to have...
- experience on planning and implementing Microservice architectures (Kubernetes)
- vision how to create neat REST APIs and integrations
- strong software development skills, preferably knowhow in Java or Kotlin
- a DevOps-minded head and keen spirit on CI/CD development
- good grasp in distributed modern version control and tools such as GitHub
It’s beneficial to know also about relational databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB) and various other cloud technologies. We also value experience working with open-source projects. We use Kafka as a streaming platfrom and our domain (like Elisa’s one main business) is networks and radio access network. But in this position you don’t have to know everything about networking stuff, we have specialists for that.
In true elisian fashion you can work flexibly wherever and whenever it suits you best. But most of the key stakeholders are in Pasila office so we prefer if you can at least part of the week work at the Elisa HQ in Pasila.
