SENIOR TEAM LEADER

to be located in AXA Partners office in Helsinki.

AXA Partners Travel Business Unit is part of AXA Partners, an international network providing services for corporate and individual clients. AXA Partners has a presence in over 30 countries covering five continents, with a workforce in excess of 2,500.

Job description

Senior Team Leader is supporting AXA Partners Travel business line and AXA Credit & Lifestyle Protection Group strategy through effective management and delivery of a comprehensive Nordic Operations function. This will involve working closely with the Global Operations Director (Travel business line) and Credit & Lifestyle Protection Operations Managers to develop, deliver and control all elements of the Operational Service including technical, MI and change processes. This will include a focus on client SLAs and delivering customer centric and efficient technical processes and solutions.

The post-holder will report directly to the Global Operations Director (Travel business line). The post-holder will also liaise frequently with counterparts in other hub offices and departments.

Main responsibilities:

- To be a role model ensuring strict adherence to the management charter
- Full accountability for all Service performance including change, audit and SLAs
- To provide department and Line Management for service support
- To support audit, compliance and commercial teams with external audits with clients
- To support Project Management and change activities from initiation, design, test and release
- To support the account management teams with client meetings from an Operational perspective
- Conduct regular performance reviews with direct reports
- To assist Operations Managers with forecasting, resource planning and staff allocation
- To be able to support/take on responsibilities of the Head of Operations in his/her absence
- Participate in commercial activities to support business development and client service
- Support the development of employees through on-going training, mentoring and coaching

Qualifications

- Experience of team management
- Ability to communicate at all corporate levels
- Fluency in English and ideally a second language capability ( Finnish / Swedish / Danish / Norwegian)
- Knowledge of Insurance / Assistance activities
- Financial skills to manage budget & forecasts
- Proven track-record in Operational steering, optimization and transformation
- Analytical skills enabling to focus on priorities
- Knowledge in quality monitoring & controlling
