We are looking for a Software Testing Engineer to join our 3D Plant and Outfitting applications development team in Turku, Finland.
You will work as a member of a Scrum team developing our 3D Plant and Outfitting Applications. Together with a product owner, the team creates new and maintains existing features.
You will take part in developing the products with quality assurance as your responsibility. Your work will include planning and executing tests for new features and regression testing. You will maintain test materials and develop team’s quality related tools and methods. You will do manual testing but also coordinate testing activities done by the Software Developers in the team and take part in development of test automation. You will report the problems you find and give suggestions to ensure usability, reliability and efficiency of use.
The products are based on our own technologies that we also keep competitive. We have a modern toolset including Visual Studio, Git and JIRA.
We appreciate experience about testing complex systems, and/or engineering background with the experience of using CAD tools. Experience on exploratory testing is a benefit. Experience of programming or scripting would be helpful in developing automatic testing, but not a mandatory requirement for the role. As an alternative to software testing, background as an advanced user of CADMATIC or some other sophisticated CAD software can be a good starting point to become successful in the role.
You are proactive and analytic, you can see the problem behind symptoms and you can report your findings accurately. We expect suitable technical education and good English skills.
In the position, you have possibility to accomplish diverse tasks in creating software products with rich graphics, innovative user interfaces and unique algorithms. The software development teams have a strategic role in the company, and there is a long-term commitment to the products.
