Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our 3D design software development team which creates software for engineers who design industrial plants and ships. Our software combines efficient technologies, industry know-how and usability. Our work significantly enhances end users’ work by boosting efficiency and quality. Developing this kind of tools that can create something from nothing transforms developers into creative and skillful problem solvers. 

As part of the team, you create new and maintain existing features. You find ways to fulfill user needs and strive for efficient technical solutions and good usability. You participate in planning, implementation, and review both independently and as part of the Scrum team. You co-operate with the Product Owner, UX designer, Architects, Developers, and Testing engineers in your everyday tasks.

What we expect from you

To thrive in this role, you should hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least a couple of years of experience as a motivated Senior Software Engineer. We expect from you:

• Proficiency in C++ and C#
• Experience in user interface development of desktop applications with modern technologies, for example WPF. Other interest areas would be a bonus.
• Familiar with Agile development.
• You are comfortable working with Git, Visual Studio, VS Code, Jira.

Your ability to communicate effectively in English is essential. Ability to communicate in Finnish is a plus.
