(Senior) Software Engineer

Mobile.io is looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer to join their growing team in Helsinki. They have received financing from Finland's best venture capital company Lifeline Ventures which has financed well-known start-ups such as Smartly and Swappie. Now it is time to grow and change the local marketing business. Their new web-based software product is going to automatize local marketing by eliminating manual work.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end development of product features from planning to the implementation of the actual solution and changes, as well as further development by using cutting-edge technologies. You will get to plan and influence the technological choices and architecture as well as write the code and implement new features hands-on. You also get to lead younger colleagues and take care of the division of responsibilities. The product development team works with Scrum methods in 2 weeks sprints. Tech stack includes technologies and tools, such as, : TypeScript, Node.js, Vue, Vuetify, PostgreSQL, Celery, AWS, Redis, and Django. This position is diverse as things evolve and change rapidly but your role can be modified based on your personal interests.

We are looking for someone who is truly passionate about coding and wants to develop their skills even further. We expect you to have gained at least a couple of years of experience in fullstack development. We hope you are eager to take ownership of your work and work both independently and as part of a team. We require you to have:

• At least a couple of years of relevant work experience

• Proficient skills in one frontend technology and one backend technology (e.g. Vue, React, or Angular and Django, ExpressJS, Ruby on Rails, Flask, or Node.js)

• Strong knowledge of API’s

• An understanding of the best practices in agile software development.

• Be fully proficient in English
