Wärtsilä's Voyage business is the frontrunner of software solutions for the maritime industry and driving connectivity and data utilisation in the maritime ecosystem. Wärtsilä Voyage is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Fleet Operations Solution Web Applications team at our Helsinki office in Wärtsilä Campus. In this position, you will contribute to shaping Fleet Operations Solution (FOS) - the leading marine analytics platform in the world that helps our customers to optimize their operations to save money and fuel. Digitalisation is rapidly changing the marine industry and you can be part of that change by developing smart and environmentally friendly solutions.

We are looking for a Senior SW Engineer with emphasis on the backend side, but who can still work on all layers of the software stack. The developer should also be experienced in release management and continuous delivery and working according to these principles. The software environment is mainly Linux. The most important skill requirements are Java, Spring, PostgreSQL and Python.
