With us you will be responsible for

Research and development related to operation of smart grid systems, integration of distributed energy resources, electric vehicles, energy storages, controllable loads etc. You will take a leading role in project preparations and will have project management responsibilities. However, you will also participate in the practical research work developing new smart grid functionalities and participating in various studies utilizing simulations, laboratory experiments and real network pilots. Telecommunication, information models and relating protocols for smart grid applications are areas of expertise you will use in your tasks and that you are familiar with. In addition, you will develop research infrastructures towards interoperable testing platforms. You will work as a member of the Power Systems and Renewables research team.

We expect you to have

  • Solid understanding of power systems and development needs associated with them
  • Capability of preparing and managing research projects and knowledge of different funding instruments
  • Good skills in English, both oral and written
  • PhD on relevant field preferred
