Do you want to join a globally leading printed electronics development team focusing on new renewable electronics technologies, environmentally friendly additive electronics manufacturing processes, technologies enabling IoT, as well as novel methodologies for wellness and healthcare? In our group, you will be on the edge of new technologies involving novel materials, processes and multidisciplinary product applications. As part of our team, you will work with globally leading universities, research institutes and companies in the area of printed electronics materials, processes and end-user applications. This job is a unique opportunity for you to join a field of technology ready to be commercially exploited.

With us, you will be responsible for novel technology developments in printed electronics. Your focus can be in material sciences, printing technology development and/or closer to product applications. You will plan, prepare and lead both domestic and international research projects together with our talented project-support team.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Being a key member in the development of printed electronics technologies for renewable energy, hybrid integrated electronics, IoT and/or healthcare and wellness
  • Building up and leading projects aiming to develop novel technology and end products
  • Produce technologically and scientifically relevant research results and foster our clients to uptake these technologies

We expect you to have

  • an innovative, inquisitive and research orientated open-mindset
  • PhD degree (or equivalent) from a suitable discipline.
  • Capability to build up and lead national and international projects
  • Fluent spoken and written capabilities in English

  • You are self-driven, willing to learn new things, and also a hands-on worker
  • You should be a skilled independent worker with great collaboration and networking skills
  • We expect that you are capable to travel at least monthly

We offer a position in one of the leading printed electronics research institutes and the possibility to formulate your own research track within the printed electronics field. You will be part of a creative and international working research team with excellent research facilities. Our research team specializes in renewable energy, especially OPV and perovskite solar cells, printed electronics processing and product development, as well as enabling technologies for healthcare and well-being.
