Senior Product Manager, Analyzers & Automation

Thermo Fisher Scientific is currently recruiting a Senior Product Manager to lead the Automation team within the Analyzers & Automation Business Unit based in Vantaa, Finland. Being responsible for the Automation product line together with a team consisting of Product Manager, Product Specialist and Technical Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the go-to-market plan, manage and lead the product management and drive marketing readiness in delivering and supporting new and existing products.
  • Manage the product lifecycle. Collect and prioritize product and customer requirements. Create product strategy and vision, define the product roadmap, product positioning and messaging and develop new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with Technical Support to regarding support processes, methodologies and tactics to constantly improve the effectiveness of the technical support teams with respect to Automation.
  • Develop and execute the Product Marketing plan, including positioning, pricing, promotions, and industry references. Work closely with the marketing communication team to launch product information, website information, product literature, newsletters, articles, sales tools and promotions.
  • Drive the competitiveness of the product line by keeping up with technology, regulatory and application development in the market and hold high level of knowledge of competitor's technical and marketing capabilities.
  • Champion the voice of the customer - drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and ensure customer complaints and problems are addressed and escalated in a timely and complaint manner.
  • Reassure the Product Management tasks and responsibilities are carried out in all necessary meetings related to product quality, regulatory, performance and business performance as described in the SOP, Quality Management System or otherwise agreed with the manager.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Five years of work experience in product management and technical support or in a commercial role in IVD market supporting international customers/channels.
  • Excellent skills in written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage eg. Finnish
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in a IVD market, preferably clinical chemistry
  • Excellent presentation skills
