We seek a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our HR Shared Services team in Espoo.  You will be part of local HR and Northern Europe team, where you will drive high quality payroll process and act as a local expert in employment related matters to the whole organization. You will report directly to the head of HR Shared Services Northern Europe which also allows you to work on projects related to the NE Zone.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and consolidate payroll related materials for our external service provider
  • Manage payroll process development and projects as well as drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Answer employment and payroll related questions via HR ticketing tool
  • Ensure compliance in general (e.g. HR related GDPR processes)
  • Create employment contracts and other HR related documentation
  • Update employee handbook and intranet
  • Support the management of local HR Shared Service budget
  • Coordinate expatriates and international assignments together with partners
  • Administer company car scheme
  • Collaborate with our relevant external suppliers such as the insurance broker

About you

  • You have a degree in HR, Accounting, Business or related discipline
  • You have understanding of Finnish labor law, pension and personnel insurance, payroll and sick leave administration
  • You are a result oriented, entrepreneurial and open-minded person
  • You enjoy working in diverse teams in an international setting and have excellent collaboration skills
  • You want to continuously develop yourself
  • Knowledge of Commercial and Technology Industry Sectors’ Collective agreement would be beneficial

To succeed in the role, you need experience from coordinating payroll and advanced excel skills. Preferably you have some experience working for large company in an international setting. As a person you are structured, detail oriented and keen on ensuring and developing efficient processes. You speak and write fluent Finnish and English.
