In our EV Systems business line we develop and manufacture battery systems from 48V up to High Voltage for automotive and industrial applications. Valmet Automotive covers the full range from contract manufacturing to a TIER1 system supplier.
Here’s where you’ll make an impact:
You are responsible for ensuring technical reliability and operation of assets based on requirements and production needs from maintenance perspective. You develop problem solving culture using modern tools, methods and approaches from mathemathical modelling to basic 5xWhy rootcause analyses. You are also responsible of creation of plant level guidance and structured process for problem solving. You take part in to the maintenance development plan and plant level maintenance strategy creation: Primary target is to ensure planned and cost efficient maintenance withholding the competitive advance compared to competitors in the field of manufacturing especially based on world class maintenance operations. Secondary target is to achieve the reference position as flagship of VA factories related to maintenance operations. As a key player you will execute the maintenance strategy fulfilling customer requirements and take the charge of development plan implementation on your own area of responsibility.
We hope that you would have:
- Problem solving skills and practice from problem solving from manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of customer requirements and quality assurance in operations related to regulatory manufacturing / automotive industry
- Understanding of quality tools (Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) and skills to use MiniTab / basic, SPC and understanding of structural analyses (FEM)
- Coaching approach and ability to build teamspirit to support implementation of methods
- Passion to solve difficult and problematic cases involving materials, humans and technology without giving up, still maintaining the ability to listen
