Senior Lecturer in International Business

Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences is looking for
a Senior Lecturer in Business Unit.
The position includes teaching in Haaga-Helia in various areas of marketing and international business. The main working language is English, excellent skills required. The work takes place on Haaga-Helia’s campuses in Finland (mainly) and abroad (up to 3 months a year). Any other language skills, especially Finnish and Spanish, are regarded as an asset. The contract of employment shall be valid from 12.8.2019 until further notice.
The Senior Lecturer works in our dynamic International Business teacher team, teaches in several programmes, and cooperates with companies and other stakeholders, e.g. supervising student teams working in client projects. Furthermore, the position includes tutoring thesis students and participating in the development of the field, R & D and tailor-made training. We are looking for candidates who are team-players and possess the willingness to embrace new teaching and learning methods and the ability to develop interactive online learning environments.
The main areas of teaching will be marketing, international sales and CRM. In-depth knowledge in marketing analytics and other digital marketing approaches are appreciated. The position requires a master’s or doctor´s degree in a suitable field, a minimum of 3 years of strong professional and practical experience and proficiency in marketing communication, brand management and international business. Teaching experience is regarded as an asset. Teaching qualification or completing it in a given timeframe is required.
