We are now looking for a driven and energetic

Senior HRIS Specialist

who has a passion for data and interest in working with world-class HR technology to join the global HR team in our Espoo headquarters.

As a Senior HRIS Specialist your primary focus will be on the development, maintenance and support of our HR information systems, including Workday. You will work as a member of a small team in global HR and report to Head of HRIS and C&B. You will collaborate closely with your own team members, HR people globally, our IT organization and our HRIS suppliers.

Key responsibilities of Senior HRIS Specialist:

  • Maintaining and updating data in HR information systems (including Workday which we have recently implemented), including simple configuration and mass uploads.
  • Actively taking part in HR information systems projects: coordinating the project, scheduling, testing, training etc.
  • Supporting users of the tools: receiving support queries, investigating and solving issues while providing excellent customer service.
  • HR reporting: create new reports; run reports, graphs and charts to support HR and business.
  • Workday bi-annual releases: reviewing the contents of the release, compiling a proposal for which changes/new features to implement and participating in the decision making
  • Prepare Huhtamäki annual people processes in the tool
  • Identifying and presenting improvement suggestions to global process owners on HR information systems and HR reporting.
  • Participating in creating guidelines, communication and training material on HR information systems and HR reporting.

To succeed in this position you have 

  • Hands on experience of a global HR information system like Workday as a HRIS Specialist
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, continually evolving global environment
  • Project management and customer service skills as well as a good eye for detail and a sense of humour
  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of standard HR practices and HR professionalism
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Fluent spoken and written English
