With our strong growth strategy for the coming years in Finland, we need to reinforce our Finance team to support our capacity to deliver proper follow-up, control and analysis of our activity. So we are looking for

Senior Financial Controller

You will be part of a small, dynamic and international financial team (5 team members + externalized accounting), dealing with all possible financial topics occurring in a company (accounting, consolidation, treasury, planning & budget, business control, internal control, etc.).

Your responsibilities

On daily level, you tasks vary following the monthly and annual cycles. Overall, your tasks will be (non-exhaustive):

  • Accounting supervision (outsourced partner)
  • Support to finance team’s daily tasks (invoices, clients claims, etc.)
  • Monthly closure (revenue checks / costs accruals / stock controls)
  • Monthly P&L reporting, analysis and comments to Paris Head Office – IFRS standards
  • Balance sheet reporting 4 times a year to Paris Head Office – IFRS standards
  • Compliance with local legal & tax regulations (financial statements, VAT, etc.)
  • Interface with external auditors
  • Active contribution to budget & planning process
  • Internal control recurring tasks
  • Involvement in various projects of processes improvement (finance, business, etc.)
  • Additionally, you can be involved in ad-hoc analysis needed by the Chief Financial Officer, related to business analysis, internal control processes, etc.

Required skills and profile

Preferably, you have at least 5 years of work experience from relevant Finance position. You have studied Accounting, Finance or Economics in a Business School or University.

You will succeed in the role, if you have:

  • Accounting & Finance expertise
  • Autonomous way of working, with high standard of quality
  • Excellent analytical skills and reliability
  • Strong proficiency on Excel
  • Fluent in English and Finnish (working languages)
  • Open-minded, flexible, energetic and proactive team player attitude, willing to learn, help and support other team members

You will report directly to the CFO, and interact frequently with the other controllers of the team, the externalized Accounting Team and the Head Office. You will also work closely with other departments: IT, Operations, Customer Care and HR.
