Senior Financial Accountant
We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Financial Accounting team in Espoo, Finland.
Your key responsibilities include managing general ledger and fixed asset accounting of nominated legal entities and group month-end reporting according to defined guidelines. You are responsible for VAT reporting and participate in tax reporting. You will prepare the annual reporting and statutory financial statements in cooperation with internal stakeholders. You will support legal entity controllers in accounting related matters and partner with stakeholders such as Business area Finance, Group Finance and other teams in Global Finance Services as well as auditors.
You have equivalent degree in Business/Accounting e.g. Bachelor of Business Administration. We expect you to have more than three years of experience as chief accountant or a similar role and you are familiar with Finnish Accounting Standards. You have a good understanding and experience of accounting and tax processes, and you have strong analytical skills. SAP knowledge is considered as an advantage. You are experienced in common finance applications, including MS Office tools. Good communication and language skills in Finnish and English are required.
You are proactive and maintain positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn new. You also have development mindset and continuously improve ways of working. You can see the big picture without losing details. As a person you have excellent team working skills and precise working style. Working under pressure with flexibility is familiar to you.
The position is based at our HQ in Keilaniemi, Espoo. You will report to Senior Manager, Financial Accounting.
