Senior Finance Partner

This role incumbent will become the financial referral point within Finnish Local Operating Company (LOC) creating the required interfaces with Nordic Cluster, LOC Commercial organization and above country to deliver financial targets. Scope includes decision support, sales forecasting, financial management, ROI analysis and bench-marking.
As a member of Finish Leadership Team, this role will provide support to General Manager and Business Unit Heads on how to optimize allocation of resources and manage Business Units Profit & Loss. Success in the role requires the ability to interface with senior management, have high degrees of technical and financial competencies, understanding of accounting standards and principles as well as reliability and high spreadsheet/modeling skills.
As this is a hybrid role covering both Business Partnering as well as Finance Controllership, the incumbent should have experience in both areas in order to be able to deliver value.
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional accounting qualification
- 3 years of experience from similar role in a global company
- Very strong commercial background and people management skills
- Exposure and experience working in a finance function, including providing financial partnership to a business area or team
- Demonstrated financial knowledge and experience including analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning and decision making
- Direct experience with financial software and systems
- Strong communication skills in English and preferably in Finnish
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- MBA, preferably in Management, Finance or Accounting.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience managing or working with a global team and global stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and compare complex data from multiple sources
- Demonstrated ability to determine and communicate the legal, financial and ethical interpretation of industry regulated principles
