Senior Data Architect

We are now looking for a Senior Data Architect to join Posti’s Data & Digital Channels team to plan and build group-wide data solutions. 

In this role you will work as a member of Posti’s Data and Digital Channels team, which is part of Posti’s Brand, Sustainability, and Communications organization. Together we develop customer centric data solutions and support other data teams throughout the company by bringing clarity and structure to data from all domains.  

Your key responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain data architecture and common logical data models in close cooperation with Posti’s various business units, group functions, data domain teams, TecHub, and enterprise architects.  

• Define, document, and implement data standards and guardrails that support and streamline development and maintenance of data solutions.  

• Guide data domain teams through development projects, helping them to implement common data models, and benefit from data standards and guardrails.  

In this position, you get to utilize your knowledge of information architecture and data management. We hope you have prior experience developing and implementing data governance frameworks and working with master data management. Experts with a background in information technology or analytics have a good chance of success in this position.

Would this be you?   

• In-depth experience on data modeling and master data management and hands-on experience in defining and adapting schemas for different business requirements.  

• You have a solid grip on data governance frameworks, methodologies, processes and how to implement them.  

• Experience with modern software development, DevOps, APIs, and domain driven development.  

• You are not afraid to speak your mind and immerse yourself into discussions with management and colleagues to make your point.  Fluent verbal and written Finnish and English.
