We are looking for a (Senior) Data Analyst/Scientist focusing on customer retention analytics, especially for news media (Helsingin Sanomat, Aamulehti, etc.) in Sanoma Media Finland's B2C unit. In this position you will be in a key role to ramp up the customer analytics to understand and optimize the customer retention/churn, in close collaboration with product development and sales teams. Other key responsibilities are the support to the pricing analytics, which has a strong connection to retention, and the support to business via strategic/tactical ad hoc analyses focusing on, among others, retention. B2C unit is heavily data and analytics driven, directly affecting the profitability and revenue of Sanoma.
You will be working together with our skilled team as well as experts from other units. In this position you will have a chance to create analytical insights to steer customer sales and decision making. You can utilize all your analytical skills ranging from data mining, statistical analysis, econometrics and machine learning on various types of data (transactions, online events, demographical data etc.). We also allow a wide range of cloud-based tools and environments for working. This position also requires a genuine business understanding and capability for team working.
