We have a new Digital Credits department in the Credits and Analysis business area of OP Banking. We are now looking for a Senior Credit Modeler and Credit Modeler for the Credit Modeling and Automation unit in Helsinki.

In your work, you will have a direct impact on the customer experience and the success of our business.

Our unit is in charge of the quality and development of digital credit decision-making in OP Financial Group. Our work includes credit decision-making, modeling, analyzing, as well as tool and reporting development.

As a Credit Modeler, you will execute the substantive development of the credit decision and pricing engine of the mortgage process for customers. You will be part of analyzing and monitoring the performance of the credit policy, decision-making models and related pricing models. The business critical development areas you will be working with are an integral part of realizing our strategy that focuses on renewal and developing customer experience.

Your duties will include designing, developing and implementing cloud-based financing processes as well as creating preconditions for utilizing machine learning in your area. You will implement scalable and secure technology solutions for the financing process as well as coding, testing and documenting the parameters of the credit decision and pricing engine. You will also collect, manage and analyze your own area’s data to support the business and its development.

You have experience in developing algorithm-based applications and in using R or equivalent programming skills in statistical analysis. You have the appropriate higher education and excellent English skills. For the Credit Modeler position, experience from finance is an advantage. For the Senior Credit Modeler position, we expect several years of experience from similar tasks and previous experience from finance.
