We are seeking an experienced Business People Partner with a creative, structured, analytical and strategic mindset.

 

As a Senior Business People Partner you will collaborate with our business line leaders, your colleagues in Consumer Solutions People Team as well as colleagues in the whole Fortum Group. You will report to Head of Business Partnering.

 

Key responsibilities:

Contribute to Fortum Consumer Solution’s strategy execution, building business growth and operational excellence - by providing support in all people related matters, such as:

 

• Cultural development and employee engagement

• Talent acquisition; recruitment, onboarding & retention

• Labor law, collective agreements and union collaboration

• Performance management

• Compensation & Benefits

• Competence and leadership development

• Wellbeing

You will become part of a dynamic People & Employee Communication team, consisting of 13 professionals in the Consumer Solutions division, mainly located in the Nordics. As a Senior Business People partner, you will have the opportunity to drive Nordic development projects or processes, in addition to supporting managers leading business units both locally and across the countries.

Your qualifications

 

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a demanding Business People Partner or HR Manager position
  • M.Sc degree in Human Resources, Organizational psychology, business/economics or related field
  • Very good knowledge in Finnish labor law and collective agreements
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, in addition to Finnish

To thrive in this role, you must have the capability to think strategically and execute operationally. You have been through various organizational change journeys, and you understand the formal and informal ways this impacts the business and our people. You also understand the importance of digitalization and are able and willing to support the development. As a person, you are a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment with high ambitions. And last, but not least, you have a good sense of humor and can keep a positive attitude even in challenging situations.
