Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join Faron’s Finance team in Turku

This is an exciting moment to join our Finance team, as we are building our in-house accounting team where you would be a key player in shaping our accounting function and running our bookkeeping in-house. The main focus of this position is to maintain core finance processes, prepare group consolidation and play an important role in the finance development activities.

Your role will consist e.g of the following tasks:

• daily accounting tasks in all our group companies
• VAT & CIT reporting
• monthly group consolidation
• participation in monthly forecasting
• co-operating with outsourced service providers
• participating in finance process development, especially in P2P and management reporting
• payroll related financial analysis and reporting
  
  

We’re definitely looking for you, if you:

• Have solid working experience in accounting and group consolidation
• Deep understanding of Finnish Accounting Standards, relevant tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements and a basic understanding of IFRS standards
• Have good spoken and written command of the English language; other languages are an asset
• Have excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and co-operate with the team to execute in a fast-paced environment
• Are detail and result-oriented, comfortable working in collaborative settings, and have an eye for continuously automating and improving processes
• Have experience in using Netvisor
